Greetings from Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli!

Northern Coalfields Limited being pioneer in Opencast Working with pride of producing over 16% of India’s total Coal & meeting 10% of India’s energy demand. NCL is all set to ablaze an international forum "International Conference on Opencast Mining Technology & Sustainability (ICOMS-2022)" on 20-21 January 2023, with the mandate bridge the gap between the research & its implementation.

ICOMS has its own benchmark with the success of its all-previous editions. Troika of Mining, Innovation and Research facilitated by Miners, Technical & Research institutions has established ICOMS as global forum for sharing and acquiring knowledge on recent innovations/practices and convergence to a common consensus on technological issues for the brighter and successful future mining industry.

Continuing the efforts, Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli (a subsidiary of Coal India Limited) is set to organize "5th International Conference on Opencast Mining Technology & Sustainability (ICOMS-2022)" in association with IIT (BHU) at Singrauli, M.P. 

In 5th ICOMS, special focus has been laid upon potential applications and relevance with opencast mining, especially NCL, so that the recommendations/findings of the papers can be implemented in real field.
